갤러리이배는 미국 마이애미에서 개최된 Art Miami 2021에 참가하였다. Miami Art Week 중에 열리는 세계에서 가장 뛰어난 현대미술 행사 중 하나인 Art Miami는 올해로 31번째를 맞이하였고, 17개국 60개 도시에서 온 140개 이상의 국제적인 갤러리들이 참여하였다. 갤러리이배는 한지를 사용하여 중도의 인간상을 조각을 하는 이유미작가, 벨벳 위에 시간의 레이어를 나타내는 배상순작가, 일상적인 소재들을 클래식한 기법으로 나타내는 이진이작가, 일본을 대표하는 Miyuki Yokomizo 작가의 조각적 회화를 마이애미에 선보였다. 한국을 비롯해 아시아 미술의 우수성을 미국 최대 미술시장인 마이애미에 소개하여 아트 컬렉터, 아트 딜러, 큐레이터 등 아트 관계자 뿐만 아니라 예술을 사랑하는 일반 관람객에게까지 K-Art의 파워를 보여줄 수 있었다. 12월 마이애미의 뜨거운 태양 아래 한국미술에 대한 열기까지 더해져 성공적으로 아트페어를 마무리하였다.
LEE & BAE participated in Art Miami 2021 held in Miami, USA. It is the leading international contemporary and modern art fair that takes place each December during Art Week. Now in its 31st year, and participated more than 140 international galleries from 17 countries representing 60 cities. LEE & BAE introduced four female artists Youmee Lee, who sculpts a human figure as Korean paper Hanji, Sangsun Bae, who represents the layer of time on velvet, Jeenee Lee, who presents everyday materials with classic techniques oil painting, and Miyuki Yokomizo, who presents the 'Line' series by Japanese abstract painting in this year. By introducing the excellence of Korean and Asian art to the largest art market, we were able to show the power of K-Art not only to art collectors, art dealers, and curators, but also to general audiences who love art. In December, under the scorching sun of Miami, the enthusiasm for Korean art was added, and the art fair ended successfully.

갤러리이배는 아랍에미리트의 수도 아부다비에서 개최돤 Abu Dhabi Art 2021에 참가하였다. 중동 미술의 메카로 떠오르는 아부다비에서 열리는 이번 아트페어에는 약 19개국 50개 갤러리가 참가하여 세계 미술시장에서 경쟁력 있는 우수한 작품들을 선보였다. 갤러리이배는 ’산의 기억‘을 회화로 담아낸 염진욱, 한지를 사용하여 중도의 인간상을 조각을 하는 이유미, mirror PET film으로 시간의 형태를 나타내는 장인희, 벨벳 위에 시간의 레이어를 나타내는 배상순, 최소한의 빛과 선으로 3차원 공간을 '빛이 드는 공간' 시리즈를 구성한 황선태 작가 등 총 다섯 명의 한국 작가들이 참가하였다. 한국미술의 우수성을 세계 미술시장에 소개하여 비평가 및 미술 애호가들로부터 큰 호응을 받았다.
LEE & BAE participated in Abu Dhabi Art 2021 held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. 50 galleries from about 19 countries participated in this art fair which is emerging as the Mecca of Middle Eastern art, and presented excellent works that are competitive in the world art market. LEE & BAE introduced Jinwook Yeom, who captures 'memories of the mountain' through painting, Youmee Lee, who sculpts a human figure as Korean paper Hanji, Inhee Jang, who represents the shape of time with mirror PET film, Sangsun Bae, who represents the layer of time on velvet, Seontae Hwang, who composed a series of a space where the light shines in a three-dimensional space with light and lines. All five Korean artists introduced the excellence of Korean art to the world art market and it received a great response from the art lovers in middle east countries.

솔로쇼는 전시공간이나 기획자들이 연대해서 평소 교류해 온 갤러리들과 함께 미술 시장을 연구해서 진행하는 프로그램으로, 아트페어와 기획전시의 형식을 동시에 취한다. 2018년에 결성된 콜렉티브 협동작전이 기획한 부산 첫 솔로쇼에는 27개 갤러리가 참여한다. 갤러리이배는 유리라는 매체로 내면의 성찰을 담아내는 이상민 작가를 소개하여 관람객으로부터 큰 호응을 받았다.
The Solo Show is a program that studies the art market with exhibitions and galleries that have interacted with and takes the form of the art fair and exhibitions at the same time. Twenty-seven galleries participated in the first solo show in Busan, and it was organized by the Collective Cooperation, which was formed in 2018. LEE & BAE represent the artist Sangmin Lee, who captures inner reflection through the medium glass, and he received a great response from collectors.

문화체육관광부와 예술경영지원센터는 컬렉터 시점에 초점 맞춘 전시 '매니폴드: 사용법'을 개최한다. 매니폴드: 사용법은 예비 전속작가제 지원 사업을 통해 선정된 화랑 중 전속작가 육성에 크게 기여한 7개의 우수 전속 화랑을 소개하고 이들이 육성하는 19명의 전속작가의 작품 약 60여 점을 선보인다. 이번 전시에서는 관람뿐 아니라 작품을 구매하고 소장까지 할 수 있다. 특히 컬렉터의 시점으로 작성한 전시공간 사용법을 도록에 소설적인 문체로 수록해 관람객과 컬렉터를 도울 예정이다. 갤러리이배의 배상순, 임지빈, 이우림 작가가 이 전시에 참여해 그들의 독창적이고도 우수한 작품을 선보이고 있다.
Manifold is part of the Korea Arts Management Service’s Grant for Artists Management’s project, begun in 2019, that aims to support rising artists by matching them with galleries. Twenty-five artists and 11 art galleries from Korea are featured on Manifold. They were selected from among 96 artists and 45 galleries who applied to participate in the project. The emerging artist program held in offline spaces and this year’s exhibition is to have taken place at Hangaram Arts Center Museum in Seoul. The exhibition includes a description of the artist and works and a curriculum vitae. Sangsun Bae is showcasing the exhibition 'Velvet Painting' and Woolim Lee and Jibin Im are included by their own creative works.

The Daegu Art Fair 2021, celebrating its 14th anniversary this year, was held at EXCO, Daegu, Korea. This year, 126 galleries from 5 countries, including China, Japan, Germany, and France, participated hosted by KIAF and the Galleries Association of Korea. LEE & BAE exhibit five different artists; glass paintings by Sangmin Lee, sculptural paintings by Miyuki Yokomizo, interference paintings by Shingo Francis, the Chair series by Jeenee Lee, and expresses the time of coexistence with mirror PET film sculptures by Inhee Jang. These five artists received interest and favorable evaluations from art lovers and collectors.
올해 제14회를 맞이하는 ‘2021대구아트페어’가 대구 엑스코(EXCO)에서 개최되었다. 올해는 KIAF와 한국화랑협회가 공동 주관하여 중국, 일본, 독일, 프랑스 등 5개국 126개 화랑이 참가하였다. 갤러리이배는 이상민 작가의 유리 회화, 일본을 대표하는 Miyuki Yokomizo의 조각적 회화, Shingo Francis의 interference 회화, 이진이 작가의 Chair 시리즈, 그리고 공존의 시간을 미러 PET 필름 조각으로 표현하는 장인희 작가의 작품을 전시하여 국내외 미술 애호가들의 관심과 호평을 받았다.

LEE & BAE participated in <2021 Art Taipei> which opened at Taipei World Trade Center in Taiwan. ART TAIPEI, the largest international Contemporary Art Fair in the Asia-Pacific region held since 1992 by the Taiwan Art Gallery Association. This year was attended by 120 worldwide galleries from 10 countries, including Europe, North America, and Asia, even during a pandemic situation by Covid. LEE & BAE presented a series of 'Mental Landscapes' by Chinese ceramic artist Hu Haiyng. The artist shows a different aspect of pictorial Chinese ceramics by modernly composing traditional blue glaze. This year consisting of a solo exhibition by a young artist in the field of ceramics expresses a simplified landscape, however a landscape in which the mountains are visible and the sea is invisible. Like the artist's purpose to appreciate the mental landscape of each individual's mind through her work, it gave the audience a resonance to look into the aspect of the individual's mind, which received a great response from Taiwanese collectors and enthusiasts.
갤러리 이배는 2021년 10월 21일부터 10월 25일까지 Taipei World Trade Center에서 개최된 ART TAIPEI 2021에 참가하였다. Taiwan Art Gallery Association에 의하여 1992년부터 개최된 대만 최대 아트페어인 ART TAIPEI는 코로나로 인한 팬데믹 상황에서도 유럽, 북미, 아시아, 등 10개국 120여 개의 세계적인 갤러리가 함께 하였다. 갤러리이배는 전통방식의 청화 안료를 현대적으로 구성하여 회화적 중국 도자의 색다른 면모를 보여주는 후하이잉 작가의 ‘Mental Landscape’ 연작들을 선보였다. 도자회화 분야 신진작가의 단독 전시로 이루어진 이번 전시는 단순화시킨 산수를 표현하지만 산은 보이고 물은 보이지 않는 풍경을 선보였다. 작품을 통하여 개개인의 마음의 풍경을 감상하기를 원하는 작가의 의도와 같이 관람객에게 개인의 마음의 풍경을 들여다볼 수 있는 울림을 줌으로써 대만 컬렉터로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.

LEE & BAE participated in the Korean International Art Fair 2021 (KIAF SEOUL 2021) held at COEX in Seoul from October 13 to October 17, 2021. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, KIAF, Asia's largest art market, has achieved a record number of visitors, with 170 galleries participating from 10 countries as well as Korea. LEE & BAE has introduced various artworks from outstanding artists: Seungtaik Jang's 'Layered Painting' glass series that has caught the eyes and hearts of the visitors, Jinwook Yeom's new work attracting attention from the global art market, Youmee Lee's Korean paper sculptures that have fascinated collectors all over the world, and Mihei Her's photo sculpture 'Entre-Deux' series that has received much love at the KIAF+Incheon Airport special exhibition, the 'Line the Line' series by Japanese abstract painting artist, Miyuki Yokomizo and the 'Chair' series by Jeenee Lee. We shared the excellence of Korean art with the audience and the event was successfully concluded with a great enthusiasm.
